Apply to the lengths after shampooing. Let it sit and take this time to comb your hair, then rinse. If your hair is very dry, stressed, or has high porosity—such as treated hair—it’s beneficial to leave the product on for a few minutes. You can also apply it to the lengths before shampooing as a pre-treatment. In this case, reapply it after shampooing for a more smoothing effect.
