It’s very easy to use: simply distribute it through dampened hair or use it in combination with the Hair Styling Cream. It doesn’t leave hair sticky or with any residue.

We’ve often discussed the benefits of biofermented rice, which is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, shine-enhancing, softening, and protective substances. Algae and seawater are the defining elements of this line, known for its regenerating and universal benefits. These ingredients are powerful moisturizers, remineralizers, and antioxidants. Biofermented Rice:
A staple in Eastern beauty routines, biofermented rice is one of the best active ingredients for treating hair and scalp. Rich in vitamins and nutrients (amino acids, minerals, B vitamins, vitamin E, and antioxidants), it promotes cellular regeneration and helps maintain healthy skin and hair. How tu use

Some Tips:
First, remember not to saturate your hair with water. The hair should be dampened, not soaked—otherwise, you might as well just do a co-wash or a full wash. I share this tip from personal experience: I test and retest products multiple times before launching them and prefer practical solutions. Often, I simply take a bit of Refresh Gel and apply it directly to damp hair, scrunching upside down. When your hair is clean and voluminous, this is usually enough to regain definition. There are certainly more effective methods, but this is the quickest. For me, the best approach is to do this refresh in the evening, sleep with it without disturbing the cast, and wake up ready to jump out of bed and check how well it turned out with no extra effort :)

Here are a few more options:
Normal Styling with Short-Lived Results: If you did a regular styling routine but it didn’t last, dampen your hair. For fine, low-density hair, apply Refresh Gel to the lengths in moderate amounts and a little at the roots, then dry with a diffuser. For thick, coarse hair, dampen and distribute the gel from roots to tips, adding more as needed. If you have a lot of hair, it’s best to section it. You can use a spray bottle to dampen the hair or just use your hands, starting from the bottom, then the middle section, and finally the top. A spray bottle helps you avoid soaking the ends and ensures the entire length is evenly dampened. Lack of water at the roots can lead to a frizzy crown.

Low Styling Product Usage:
If your hair lacks definition and you used minimal styling after washing, distribute a bit of Hair Styling Cream diluted in water (using an old spray bottle is ideal) and then add Refresh Gel. Scrunch and use a diffuser. This method is great for those with high-density hair, very curly hair (prone to frizz), dry hair, or coarse, high-porosity hair.

Too Little Styling After Washing:
If you used too little styling product, mix Refresh Gel and Hair Cream in your hand (3 parts gel to 1 part cream). Damp your hair and distribute the mixture, scrunching as you go. Use a diffuser to dry. For finer hair and low porosity, favor Refresh Gel over Hair Styling Cream. You can also try using only Refresh Gel (or only the cream for coarse hair)!!!

Quick Definition:
If your hair is still okay but needs a quick touch-up for definition, use Ocean Wave, which is the fastest and most suitable refresh for this situation. Lightly dampen your hair with your hands or a spray bottle, distribute the mousse (using praying hands + scrunching), and go. It’s perfect if you don’t have a diffuser handy and let it air dry! Even better if you have a diffuser and can dry it in five minutes! Another excellent option for me is using Lady Shine for a refresh. It consistently restores definition and provides long-lasting results, and I can use it every day without any disappointing surprises.

A refresh will never be perfect; it won’t give you the same results as a full styling session after washing your hair. However, it saves you an entire routine, saving you a lot of time and providing very satisfactory results.

You can refresh your hair multiple times between wash days to keep it looking radiant and in shape! Curly hair can be perfectly defined one day and then lose all its definition and gain frizz the next; results are never the same, and there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. This is a great reason to learn how to manage emergencies with the right tools, and Refresh Gel is definitely a valuable resource for fixing unwanted effects.
