How to use
Three-in-One for Super Strong Hair!
How to Use:
- Pre-Shampoo Mask: Apply to the entire length of your hair for at least 15 minutes on damp hair before washing.
- Post-Shampoo Mask: Use in place of conditioner or mask on the lengths of your hair.
- Leave-In Mask: Suitable for use as a leave-in conditioner.
Application Tips Based on Hair Type:
- Thick Hair, High Porosity: Use the mask either pre-shampoo or post-shampoo with application times of 15-20 minutes to help set the active ingredients, especially amino acids and proteins, into the hair. Recommended routine: Space Shield pre-shampoo + Recovery Creamwash + Wonder + Green Boost. Always finish with one of our acid rinses (Power Water, Lady Shine, or Green Nectar).
- Thick Hair, Medium Porosity: Shorten the application time. Consider using: Green Boost pre-shampoo + Recovery Creamwash + Space Shield + Green Boost.
- Thick Hair, Low Porosity: A protein treatment isn’t essential but can be used occasionally to strengthen the hair. In this case, use Green Boost pre or post-shampoo or Space Shield as a pre or post-shampoo mask with shorter application times.
Determine Hair Porosity:
If you’re wondering whether your hair has high, medium, or low porosity, consider these factors:
- High Porosity: Often results from chemical treatments. Hair absorbs and loses moisture quickly, often appearing dry and frizzy.
- Medium Porosity: Typically balances moisture absorption and retention, with moderate response to products.
- Low Porosity: Hair feels smooth and resists moisture absorption but retains it well once applied, usually appearing shiny and hydrated.
By adjusting your routine based on your hair’s porosity and thickness, you can achieve the best results with the Three-in-One treatment.
- Yes, chemically treated hair typically has high porosity.
- Yes, as we age, hair typically becomes more porous, which can affect its hydration and texture.
- f you have dry and frizzy hair, it is likely that your hair porosity is either medium or high.
- If your hair appears shiny and soft, it generally indicates that your hair porosity is low.
- If your hair appears dull and lifeless, it typically indicates that your hair porosity is medium to high.
