The short fibers that surround the cotton seed (linter) are made of pure cellulose. Thanks to an ecological and sustainable process, they are transformed into this amazing fabric, free of toxic substances for humans and the environment. Its main characteristics are its incredible softness on the skin and hair, along with a beautiful sheen that makes it similar to silk. The fiber has a circular cross-section and a very smooth surface, smoother than cotton and many other natural and synthetic fibers. This makes it very pleasant on the skin and prevents friction irritation. For the same reason, the detergents used to wash these fabrics rinse off easily and do not leave residues, thereby minimizing the risk of allergies from the washing substances. But that’s not all! Cellulose fiber easily absorbs moisture and releases it outside. This makes vegan silk fabrics highly breathable and particularly pleasant.
